The Board of Directors is excited to introduce our region's new commissioner, Cindy Compoc. Cindy will begin on September 5th, 2017. At this time we would also like to publicly thank John Bryant for his years of dedicated service and leadership as commissioner.

I have played competitive volleyball for 20 years, and the only thing I really enjoy more than playing is getting to coach great kids. I believe athletes need an opportunity to work hard, be encouraged, and be exposed to solid fundamental coaching. If given these opportunities in a positive environment, the athlete will grow from the experience both as an athlete and as a person. Registration for the 2017 PSR Beach HP Tournament at Willis Tucker Park on May 13 and 14 is now open. This year's event will qualify athletes to attend that USA Volleyball Beach High Performance Pacific Zonal Qualifier and the American Beach Tour National Championship!
The Western Open is scheduled to be the first National Qualifier of the Puget Sound Region Beach Season and will take place April 22/23 at Willis Tucker Park in Snohomish. In addition to offering bids for the Junior Beach Tour National Championship, the winners of this year's Western Open will also qualify to attend the USA Beach HP A1 National Team Selection Camp held on May 20-21 in Manhattan Beach, CA.
We've reached the penultimate round of the Puget Sound Region Power League tournament. The U18 division has already seen the Region bids awarded, but the rest of the age divisions have their bid tournament upcoming on March 19 and the results of the Power League this weekend will likely have an impact on the seeding for the event.
Kent Juniors and Skagit Island Volleyball Academy became the first two teams from the Puget Sound Region to earn bids to a USA Volleyball Girls National Championship event in 2017!
Kent Juniors won the National Division Bid to the U18 Girls Junior National Championship and Skagit Island Volleyball Academy earned the American Division bid to the same event. Both teams will compete in Dallas, TX April 21-23.
