PSR Boys Regional Championships

EVENT INFORMATION (applies to all divisions):

The PSR Boys Regional Championships for the U14, U16, & U18 age divisions will accept teams from PSR, ERVA, CEVA and Volleyball Canada (VBBC).  This is a two-day event and will be held in Centralia. 

Day 1 will be pool play / Day 2 will be bracket play. R1s will be assigned to each match.  Teams will be required to provide R2, score table (2), and line judges (2).  Coaches will be required to R2.

If there are more than 16 teams entered in any division, the field may be split into multiple divisions based on PSR guidelines.

BID INFORMATION (Only applies to u16 & u18): 

The highest finisher in each age division will receive an American bid to the USAV Boys Junior National Championship. PSR teams that may have already earned a higher bid are still welcome to play. If any such team finishes as the top PSR entry, the American bid will trickle down to the next PSR team in order. PSR teams that finish in a bid position must accept or decline their bid at the very conclusion of play. 

NOTE: To be eligible to accept the bid, PSR teams must compete in at least two USAV-sanctioned events hosted in the Puget Sound Region.  These two events WILL NOT include the PSR Regional Championships.  Teams from ERVA and CEVA are NOT eligible to accept the PSR bids.  

This event WILL NOT award a bid to USAV Boys Junior National Championships.

Roster Disclaimer

Rosters will be provided by coaches at check-in.  Roster replacement or changes will be subject to a $25 per change fee.

REFUND POLICY: 

  • A team that withdraws before the registration / payment deadline (February 28th) will receive their full entry fee back, minus the transaction fees. 
  • A team that withdraws between March 1st and March 15th will receive a portion of their entry fee back, minus a $100 administrative fee and transaction fees. 
  • Teams that withdraw after March 16th or later, or that do not show up will not receive a refund.

The required format for notification of withdrawal is an e-mail sent to events@psrvb.org AND office@psrvb.org.

The Puget Sound Region is actively working with the Twin Cities Sports Commission and the Twin Cities Economic Impact Alliance to negotiate with the major hoteliers in the Centralia - Chehalis area to receive the best rates for this event. 

We ask that you give the group until 15 October 2025 before you make arrangements for hotels for PSR Regional Championships.

This is a CASHLESS event, all tickets must be purchased online. Each ticket is only good for the weekend it is purchased.   

You need a ticket if:  you are between 11-64 yrs old and you are NOT a current USAV member.

If you don't have a ticket:  proof of age or USAV membership will be required for entry.

After you purchase your ticket you will receive an email.  You will need to DOWNLOAD your ticket from the email BEFORE you arrive at the venue.

Facility Rules

  • There is just one main entrance to the NW Sports Hub for spectators, which allows us one entry to check bags, etc.
  • There will be a separate entrance for participants. 
  • In order to limit traffic, we will have a staggered entry.
  • PLEASE RESPECT OUR SCHEDULE!
  • Bleacher seating is available, as well as Mezzanine seating will be provided.  Outside chairs will not be permitted. 
  • Remember:  Outside food and drinks (coffee, disposable water bottles, sports drinks, etc) are not allowed into the facility. 
  • Water bottles with straws are NOT ALLOWED in the building (ex: Stanley Cups).
  • Coolers, lunch bags, or cases of water are NOT ALLOWED in the building.  There are water bottle filling stations just outside both bathrooms.
  • TEAMS MAY BE ASSESSED A 13 POINT PENALTY IF FOUND WITH OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE FACILITY.
  • There will be designated areas inside the facility for teams to put their equipment, etc. (no food or coolers); there is room outside the facility for team food tables and tents.
  • HUB CITY GRUB and TAPROOM will be open throughout the weekend. Food and non-alcoholic drinks can be consumed anywhere in the building, provided it is purchased in the building.

AM WAVE PROCEDURES

  • Doors open at 7:00am for coaches and players only
  • Players can find a team area in one of our many designated team areas
  • Please do not set up your team area courtside in the playable area 
  • Coaches must check in at the Tournament Desk and verify their rosters on Saturday between 7:00 and 7:30 am
  • Coaches must bring a printed SE MMS roster to turn in at check-in  
  • Please be prepared to show proof of ID for all adults listed on the roster  
  • Roster changes will be $25 per occurrence. (VENMO payment only)
  • Coaches who do not have the correct roster or need assistance printing a roster at the site, will be changed $25 per occurrence. (VENMO payment only)
  • Spectators will be allowed entry at 7:30am
  • Play will begin at 8:00am both days of the competition
  • Check AES for start times on Sunday
  • Teams MUST check out at the Tournament Desk before departing on Saturday 

pm wave procedures

  • Doors open at 2:00pm for coaches and players only
  • Players can find a team area in one of our many designated team areas
  • Please do not set up your team area courtside in the playable area

Parking Guidance

Please use the map to guide you to available parking locations.  On extremely high volume weekends the NW Sports Hub will provide a shuttle service from Centralia High School parking lot to the Sports Complex.  The bus runs every 15 minutes.

YOU CAN PARK:

  • Along Johnson Road in any area not marked with no parking signs
  • RED AREAS = MAIN PARKING 
  • ORANGE AREAS = AUXILARY PARKING
  • YELLOW AREAS = BUS ROUTES, HIGH SCHOOL PARKING & RV PARKING

DO NOT PARK IN - YOU RISK BEING TICKETED OR TOWED!

  • Areas with no parking signs
  • Ditches
  • In travel lanes
  • On sidewalks
  • Behind other cars blocking them in
