PSR Board of Directors Nominee
My name is Brianne Dahl, most people call me Bri, and I appreciate your consideration to represent our region as a member of the Puget Sound Region (PSR) Board of Directors. I am the President and Club Director with Rainier Volleyball Club (RVC) in Enumclaw. We started RVC in 2017 with a mission to provide a positive environment for our community to learn and grow through volleyball. We are a small club that cares deeply about our coaches, players and their families. I am fortunate to currently serve as a member of the PSR Junior Advisory Board (JAB). I enjoy working with other club directors to help improve our region. It is an amazing experience to hear what is going on throughout our region, be a part of conversations, and work with our region staff to keep the PSR moving in a positive direction. In my “day job”, I work as a Product Analyst at Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Company. I have been with the company since 1999. My area of expertise is market research, industry regulation and compliance in commercial lines of insurance. Through my role at Mutual of Enumclaw, I am involved with the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP), currently serving as national President of the Board of Directors. AICP is an industry organization for insurance compliance professionals. We focus on creating educational and networking opportunities for our members. In addition to serving as national President, I have held several other roles on the Northwest Chapter and national Board of Directors. I spent several years as Chair of the Membership Committee where I led the team managing enrollments, renewals, outreach and growth. I have also been heavily involved with the team that plans our annual conference, hosting over 700 people each year. I am a natural leader. I enjoy getting involved with organizations and influencing change. My experience in starting a club from the ground up gives me perspective and empathy for smaller, newer clubs. My work with Mutual of Enumclaw has brought me a wealth of personal and professional skills. And my involvement with AICP has taught me how to be a better leader and communicator. I am a caring and passionate person. I will bring all of this to the PSR Board of Directors with a thoughtful and analytical approach. We are all part of a great region. But even the best things can be improved on. I hope you will allow me the opportunity to be a part of the Board of Directors so I can help our region continue to improve and be the best we can be for every athlete, parent, coach and club director.
