Membership Upgrade & Club Assignment Process

Hello Club Directors

WOW, what a crazy weekend.  Many of you are starting to receive accepted/signed Letter’s of Commitment. 

What’s next: 

  • Membership Upgrade
  • Club Assignment
  • Build Rosters

You can do membership upgrade & club assignment in one step now.  We have attached a quick reference guide which should help. 

BEFORE YOU BEGIN you need the GUARDIAN’s SportsEngine Account Email Address

  • If the athlete is NEW to your club you can:
    • ADD the member to your DIRECTORY using the ATHLETE’s name, Date of Birth, and the GUARDIAN’s SportsEngine Account Email Address OR
    • You can use the PUBLIC CLUB ASSIGNMENT by sending the email to the GUARDIAN’s SportsEngine Account Email Address
      • The guardian will be prompted to upgrade to the FULL JUNIOR PLAYER membership, will be added to your directory, and accept the club assignment at the same time
  • If the athlete is RETURNING to your club you can:
    • use the DIRECT CLUB ASSIGNMENT by sending the email to people already loaded in your directory
      • The guardian will be prompted to upgrade to the FULL JUNIOR PLAYER membership and will accept the club assignment at the same time

We hope you use this process, but if you don’t, your athlete’s can return to our website and purchase their FULL JUNIOR PLAYER membership.  Then, you will need to send the CLUB ASSIGNMENT requests to the GUARDIAN’s SportsEngine Account Email Address.

Whichever process you use, it’s imperative you use the GUARDIAN’s SportsEngine Account Email Address for the athlete to be added to your directory. 

Something to look out for:  during this process we may likely discover NEW members have created their SE Accounts incorrectly.  The biggest mistake, the account owner is the minor.  If this happens, the guardian will not be able to upgrade to the FULL JUNIOR PLAYER membership.  If this does happen, have the parents call or email the region office.  We will help them one by one.

We know this process is difficult and we are trying our best to help in every way possible.  Remember, we are at the mercy of SportsEngine and we will do everything we can to solve these problems as quickly and gracefully as possible.  Thank you for your continued support and patience.

The office is open M, Tu, Th, & Fri from 0830 – 1630 pm and Weds from 0830 – 1230.
