2023 PSR Regional Championships Information

Can you believe that Regionals is already here? We are so excited for the upcoming event. There is some important information in this email that you will need to share with your Coaches and Families. Feel free to forward the entire email or only parts of it…..

Weekend #1: Apr 29-30
AM Wave: U12/U13 (8a-2p)
PM Wave: U14 (3p-9p)

U12-U14 Schedule will be live by Tues, 26 April 2023

Weekend #2: May 6-7
AM Wave: U15 Jade, U15 Turquoise, All U17 (8a-2p)
PM Wave: U15 Emerald, All U16 (3p-9p)

U15-U17 Schedule will be live by Tues, 2 May 2023

TICKET / ENTRY FEE INFORMATION

This is a CASHLESS event; all tickets must be purchased online. Each ticket is only good for one wave of competition.  

You need a ticket if:  you are between 11-64 yrs old and you are NOT a current USAV member or event participant.  

If you don't have a ticket and you are not a participant; a USAV membership will be required for entry.

Weekend #1: Apr 29-30

AM Wave: U15 Jade, U15 Turquoise, All U17 (8a-2p)

TEAM INFO

Volunteers will be manning two entrances at the NW Sports Hub.  Spectators will enter through the restaurant and participants (players and coaches) will enter through the annex. 

Remember, no outside food or beverages are allowed inside the NW Sports Hub.  There will be signs, but only personal water bottles will be allowed into the facility.

We will have volunteers checking bags.

In order to limit traffic, we will have a staggered entry. PLEASE RESPECT OUR SCHEDULE:

AM WAVE: 

  • Doors open at 7:00am for coaches and players only
  • Players can find a team area in one of our many designated team areas
  • Please do not set up your team area courtside in the playable area 
  • Coaches must check in and turn in their rosters on Saturday between 7:00 and 7:30 am at the tournament desk. This includes teams that don’t play first round.
  • There will NOT be a separate coaches meeting.  
  • Coaches who fail to check-in will not be allowed to play their first match until they have checked their team in. 
  • Coaches must BRING the team’s SE MMS Roster with them to check-in.     
  • Coaches who bring the wrong roster will be charged $50 for a correct roster. (VENMO payment only)
  • Please be prepared to show proof of ID for all adults listed on the roster  
  • Roster changes will be $25 per occurrence. (VENMO payment only)
  • Spectators will be charged a $5 per day per wave entry fee (11-64 yrs old)
  • Cashless entry; advanced purchase recommended; present QR code or paper ticket
  • Spectators will be allowed entry at 7:30am
  • Play will begin at 8:00am both days of the competition
  • Coaches MUST check out at the Tournament Desk before departing on Saturday

VENUE AND EVENT INFORMATION

Bleacher seating is available, as well as Mezzanine seating will be provided.  Outside chairs will not be permitted. 

Remember:  Outside food and drinks (coffee, disposable water bottles, sports drinks, etc) are not allowed into the facility.  No coolers, lunch bags, or cases of water.  There are water bottle filling stations just outside both bathrooms.  

There will be designated areas inside the facility for teams to put their equipment, etc. (no food or coolers); there is room outside the facility for team food tables and tents.

HUB CITY GRUB will be open throughout the weekend. 

Alcohol will be available for purchase by spectators and consumption will be limited to designated areas. 

Food and drink can be consumed anywhere in the building, provided it is purchased in the building.
